Coolcharts started from this idea that information is either inaccessible, confusing, too error-ridden, controversial, or simply too boring to read. This website addresses these things by researching multiple sources, simplifying the data, presenting the information using tables, and using the wonderful unicode typography system known to many of us as emojis. Pictures explain things better than words and if we could, we would utilize only pictures to explain things (since no language barrier exists) but it is even better if pictures could be words themselves (i.e. emoji).
Coolcharts wishes to bring easily accessible information on a variety of subjects to promote education, transparency, and objectivity. We wish to bring a new form of social media that we have coined "social information" to negate the effects of self-centered and close-minded thinking that may be promoted by standard social media platforms and customer-targeted advertisement.
